Witnesses testified before the House Transportation Subcommittee about the September 11 Commission’s recommendations for improving aviation security. They discussed changes that have already been implemented, such as improved cockpit security, as well as the need for further action to toughen passenger and cargo screening procedures. The witnesses also responded to committee members questions. close
