Speakers talked about anti-American protests and violence, as well as the security situation in Libya in the midst of the on-going protests. They also talked about democracy promotion and the future of U.S. foreign policy in Libya and the greater Middle East. They also focused on future security policy in the region and answered questions from the audience.
Ambassador Aujali Ali Suleiman paid tribute for former Ambassador Christopher Stevens who was killed in and incident on the first night of the attacks in Libya.
