Dana Priest talked about her Washington Post series, "Top Secret America, co-written with William Arkin, on the national security buildup in the United States following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The series was almost two years in the making. Ms. Priest also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. 
The program began with a clip from the previous day nomination hearing for James Clapper to become Director of National Intelligence, in which Mr. Clapper responded to a question from Senator Ron Wyden about the “Top Secret America” series.
