Columbia University history professor Simon Schama presented a collection of his essays. The historian and author of numerous books, including Rough Crossings: Britain, the Slaves and the American Revolution, opined on topics that range from Winston Churchill and Rembrandt to the American Civil War and the 2005 British election. Simon Schama presented his thoughts and responded to questions from members of the audience at the Free Library of Philadelphia.
