Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) spoke at the Federalist Society’s annual national lawyers convention. He urged the members of the National Lawyers Convention to band together and demand fiscal management, conservative solutions, and economic growth from the federal government. He said conservative solutions like cutting taxes and eliminating regulations work and they will preserve the American dream. Governor Scott also talked about governing in Florida and his focus on expanding employment. He said he would work with Secretary Sebelius and the administration to reduce the cost of health care and increase access.

The Federalist Society held its annual National Lawyers Convention at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The theme for the 2012 convention was “The Future of U.S. Constitutional Law in the Supreme Court.” close
