Stephen King, Author, delivered the keynote address at a conference on his writing, “Reading Stephen King.” He spoke about three issues surrounding use of works of popular adult fiction such as his in the classroom. He examined the detrimental effects of censorship, the use of popular literature in the classroom and teaching reading with such works. After his remarks, he took questions from the audience. Some of the Mr. King’s language may be offensive to some viewers. close
