Undersecretary Joseph talked about the recently released National Space Policy, the first one released in almost ten years. Topics included the importance of space for national security; the development of space-related science, technology, and industry; promotion of space cooperation with allies; and protecting U.S. space capabilities from terrorist threats. After his remarks Undersecretary Joseph responded to audience members' questions.
