President Bush and Prime Minister Gyurcsany spoke to reporters about the Hungarian-American commitment to working together to advance freedom in Europe, Eurasia, and the world. Following their brief remarks, they responded to questions and comments from the reporters. President Bush also addressed the nomination of Harriet Miers to the United States Supreme Court.

Hungary, a NATO ally, has supported democracy and security in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Balkans.
