Republican Presidential Candidate Pat Buchanan talked with reporters about China’s Most Favored Nation trade status which comes up for congressional renewal in June. He emphasized that the U.S. should deny this status for several reasons, which included a 30 percent Chinese tariff on U.S. goods, Chinese use of conscript labor and violation of the intellectual property treaty. He also emphasized that he had no intention of withdrawing from the race for the Republican presidential nomination. close
