The Navy’s chief uniformed officer, Admiral Kelso, announced his retirement. His retirement begins April 30, 1994 and is two months earlier than scheduled. He said that the primary reason for retiring sooner is to put the Tailhook Scandal that he was involved with, behind the Navy so they can get on with business. close
