House Budget Committee Chair Paul Ryan (R-WI) talked about the House Republican budget plan. In his speech he said President Obama’s economic policies have made the U.S. poorer. He also rebutted criticisms of the Republican budget from some Catholics, who say the plan unfairly cutting food stamp and other similar programs. Representative Ryan said the poor cannot be helped by making the government poorer.
