Mikhail Kasyanov talked about Russia’s intervention in Ukraine and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy agenda. He assessed the foreign policy strategy of President Putin and provided policy recommendations regarding the situation in Ukraine. In remarks, he said the Putin regime was moving toward inevitable collapse and sanctions by the West would only speed up this process.

Mikhail Kasyanov served as prime minister of Russia from 2000 to 2004 and minister of finance from 1999 to 2000. close
