Delegates to the 1992 Democratic National Convention debated the minority rules report on the third day of the proceedings. Five speakers, including Hollywood director Oliver Stone, spoke in favor of the minority report, which advocated the creation of a committee to hear the concerns of party members. Two mayors spoke against the report, which lost in a subsequent voice vote. A motion for a roll call vote did not carry. close
