President Obama held a news conference on rising gas prices and other issues. He said the U.S. was prepared to use its strategic petroleum reserves if oil supplies are significantly disrupted by events in the Middle East. He also talked about U.S. efforts to respond to the 8.9 massive earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan, and civil conflict in Libya.
