Witnesses testified at a House Foreign Affairs joint subcommittee hearing on Syria’s humanitarian crisis. Officials with the State Department and USAID said that while monetary aid was flowing into the country much more was needed to help the people of Syria. Members from the subcommittees inquired about how U.S. aid was tracked to ensure that it was getting into the right hands. close
