Daniel Frick talked about his book Reinventing Richard Nixon: A Cultural History of an American Obsession (University Press of Kansas; September 23, 2008). In his book Mr. Frick examines the political and cultural impact of former President Richard Nixon. He dissects President Nixon’s various political reinventions and the iconography of the former president that is exemplified by political cartoons, campaign memorabilia, and the invocation of Nixon throughout American popular culture. In his remarks, Professor Frick read from his book, showed examples of political cartoons, and responded to audience members' questions.

Daniel Frick is director of the Writing Center and a senior adjunct assistant English professor at Franklin and Marshall College. close
