The Senate Special Committee on Aging and the Senate Health and Pensions Committees hosted a discussion on 401k accounts and retirement savings. Speakers talked about two new studies, one looking at racial disparities in retirement savings loans and the other showing an increase in the amount of money being withdrawn early from 401k accounts. They also answered questions from the audience.
