Lawmakers testified at a hearing on pending legislation, focusing on the following bills related to breast cancer prevention, research, treatment, and quality of care: the Mammogram and MRI Availability Act of 2009; the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act of 2009; the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young Act of 2009; and the Eliminating Disparities in Breast Cancer Treatment Act of 2009.

This is the first of 2 parts and ends before all lawmakers testify. The hearing continues on part 2 with Representative Wasserman Schultz. close
