Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary for Retirement Mark Iwry testified about retirement savings plans and consumer education. He said that an insufficient number of Americans were not contributing enough to retirement accounts, and many would not be able to maintain their lifestyle in retirement. For that reason the Obama administration was pushing Congress to make individual retirement account (IRA) enrollment automatic. He also responded to questions from the audience. close
