Bryan Mark Rigg talked about his book Rescued from the Reich: How One of Hitler’s Soldiers Saved the Lubavitcher Rebbe, published by Yale University Press. The author told the story of Rabbi Joseph Schneersohn, head of the Hasidic Lubavitcher movement, who escaped to American in 1940. Mr. Rigg described the anti-Semitism of numerous U.S. officials and the controversial theology of Rabbi Schneersohn. Following the presentation, the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
