Republican National Convention Preview

Telephone lines were open for questions from viewers as the third night of the Republican National Convention was previewed from a skybox in Madison Square Garden.

Tom Fiedler of the Miami Herald talked about the upcoming third night of the convention, the presidential campaign overall, Florida’s primary, and Florida’s role in presidential politics.

Duf Sundheim, chairman of the California Republican Party, talked about California’s role in the presidential election and a possible change of the California primary.

Also appearing were high school students who participated in the Youth Convention; convention pages, who were making signs and doing a variety of convention tasks; and Republican delegates from several states, including Wyoming, Ohio, New Mexico, and Colorado. close
