Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller held a news conference on the implementation of recommendations by a commission on U.S. policy concerning proliferation of weapons of weapons of mass destruction. The new policy would strengthen law enforcement intelligence capabilities and place responsibility for intelligence on weapons programs in several nations under the responsibility of specific desks within the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters.
