Deena Burnett, whose husband Tom helped lead a revolt on hijacked Flight 93 before it crashed into a Pennsylvania field, spoke at this campus fifth anniversary memorial for the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Through the efforts of Tom Burnett and others, the plane did not reach its intended target in the U.S. Capitol. Ms. Burnett discussed how his actions inspired her family to continue what he started. She offered examples of good citizenship and challenged the audience members to become active in their communities. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.

Ms. Burnett was misidentified on screen as the wife of a pilot. close
