President Nixon’s son-in-law, Edward Cox, was introduced to Americans during his much-publicized 1971 White House wedding to Tricia Nixon. Mr. Cox campaigned extensively for the re-election of his father-in-law, and after the election traveled to Europe and the Soviet Union, meeting privately with leaders and their families. He spoke about the Richard Nixon he knew and responded to questions from members of the audience. “The Nixon White House -- A View from the Inside” was a program held at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum cosponsored by the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies. close
