Four scholars gave presentations on religion and public policy throughout American history. The papers were “Teaching about Religion in Red State America” by Mark Chancey; “The Welfare of Faith” by Allison Collis Greene; “Orchestrating Death from the Oval Office” by Jennifer Graber; and “Faith in the Foreign Policy of Barack Obama” by Andrew Preston.

“Religion and Policy” was the third panel in the conference “Religion and Politics in 21st Century America” held at Southern Methodist University’s Center for Presidential History with Washington University’s Danforth Center on Religion and Politics. close
