A session on Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation was held at the 47th National Washington Conference of the American Legion. Officials spoke about veterans concerns, medical treatment of personnel injured in Iraq, and the administration of veterans benefits. They also answered questions from veterans in the audience.

The proceedings included the presentation of the VAVS Worker of the Year Award to McTye Blackwell, an American Legion Volunteer at Holyoke Soldiers' Home in Massachusetts. close
