The Senate Banking Committee heard from the heads of the FDIC and other federal financial regulations about the Obama Administration’s plan to create a single national regulator for banks. Topics included the merger of multiple financial regulators into one, the Federal Reserve’s dealing with past financial banks problems, and dealing with institutions deemed “too big to fail.”
