Panelists discussed the current state of health care in the U.S. at the Cato Institute in Washington, DC. Ms. Pipes argued that the current system is broken and Canada’s health care system should be avoided as a model as well. Mr. Goodman discussed the failures of national health insurance systems. Mr. Kuttner and Mr. Lemieux offered contrasting views. After the discussion, all participants answered questions from members of the audience.
