Family law scholars Naomi Cahn and June Carbone examine America’s red and blue state divide and how these regional and ideological differences affect American families. The authors examine how the definition of “family values” differs depending on political affiliation and the effect political policy can have on the family unit. Naomi Cahn and June Carbone used slides while presenting their book at the New America Foundation in Washington, D.C. After comments by Pat Fagan and Eyal Press, David Gray moderated a panel discussion. The panelists also responded to questions from members of the audience. close
