Federal and local officials spoke to a video journalist about on-going reconstruction and recovery efforts just before the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall on the Gulf Coast. They talked about operations conducted at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) headquarters for the Louisiana Transitional Recovery Office, spoke about the process of reconstruction and providing relief aid to area residents, and toured areas of New Orleans affected by the hurricane. close
