Louise Radnofsky talked about the next issues for the Affordable Care Act, which began its rollout October 1, 2013. During the past week, President Obama apologized to people whose health care plans were cancelled, and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Centers for Medicare and Mediaid Services Administrator Marilyn Tavenner testified before Senate committees inquiring into the functioning of the HealthCare.gov Web site and dropped insurance plans. Ten Republican senators asked the president to fire Secretary Sebelius over the problems encountered with the rollout. A video clip of her testimony was shown. A video clip of Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) being interviewed November 7, 2013, for “Newsmakers” was shown. Ms. Radnofsky responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. close
