Former Governor George Pataki (R-NY), a potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate, was interviewed February 27, 2015, as the first installment of WMUR-TV’s “Conversation with the Candidate” series, co-sponsored by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics and Political Library (NHIOP). After the interview he responded to questions from the studio audience, as well as questions submitted online. Topics included *ISIL, economic growth, and the income gap. He also discussed why he believes executive experience as governor is good for a presidential candidate to have.
