Ross Baker spoke about presidential campaigns and compared the campaigns for the 2008 nominations with previous campaigns. Topics included the type of people running, the length of the campaigns, and campaign financing. He described the management styles of the 2008 candidates as either architects or engineers and talked about the issues of the campaign. Professor Baker responded to questions from members of the audience.

This event was held at The Carnegie Institution of Washington. Professor Baker was the faculty director for that week of Inside Washington. close
