Iran’s former crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, an advocate of a campaign for civil disobedience against the clerical regime, spoke about recent events and protests in Iran. He advocated a secular, parliamentary, and democratic political system in Iran. He also warned that the defeat of the movement protesting the outcome of presidential elections would not only threaten global stability but could lead to nuclear war. Following his remarks he answered questions from the reporters in the audience. close
