Current and former members of the Council of Economic Advisers and the Federal Reserve Board examined the reasons behind and prospects for continuing U.S. economic growth. They discussed the causes for this prosperity, including fiscal and monetary policy and high technology industries, and how this prosperity will alter public policy debates on issues such as Social Security. They also took questions from the audience.
