Mr. Hurley provided introductory remarks before the panel discussion on the topic of the allegations of political misconduct at the Justice Department during the Bush administration. His remarks were followed by a panel discussion led by Andrew Kreig.

In his remarks he spoke about Sarah McClendon, her participation on the board of a museum for Southern history, and his investigation of efforts by critics of the museum which he said revealed a concerted effort by federal officials to plant informants on neo-Nazi and white supremacists within the museum organization. He said such actions were evidence of a “hidden agenda” espoused by government officials “which no one knows anything about.”

The panel discussion that followed is on program 287304-1. close
