Panelists spoke about future priorities for improvements in election proceedures and the status of implementation of the September 19, 2005, recommendations by a federal election reform commission. Among the topics they addressed were election practices at the state and local level, preparations for the 2008 general election, and various allegations of illegal actions by voters and officials. They also responded to questions from the audience.
