Mr. Anderson spoke about Associated Press history and the rosary

beads he made while being held hostage in Lebanon which he loaned to

an exhibit on Associated Press history currently at the Newseum. The

exhibit is called, “Flash! The Associated Press Covers the World.”

Mr. Anderson was the Associated Press Beirut bureau chief. He was held hostage for nearly seven years in Lebanon. close
