President Clinton addressed the annual meeting of the AFL-CIO. He spoke on his efforts for health care reform and the recent events in Somali a and Russia. He stated that America still supports Boris Yeltsin as the democratically-elected leader of Russia. He went on to advocate a health care system that provides basic health care for every American citizen. He also discussed the history of the labor movement and what government ought to do to retrain workers.
