Participants talked about security concerns in the Persian Gulf and threats posed by Iraq and Iran due to the U.S. military presence in Saudi Arabia. Among the issues addressed were attitudes in the Middle East toward the U.S. presence, economic and security concerns in the area, and the impact of recent conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience.
