Alex Pourbaix talked about TransCanada Corporation’s proposed Keystone XL pipeline, which if approved, would run directly to Cushing, Oklahoma. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Each segment of the November 6, 2013, “Washington Journal” was about the oil industry, focusing on Cushing, Oklahoma. Cushing is sometimes referred to as the “capital of the American oil kingdom.” The community contains the biggest bank vault of U.S. oil in the country, with more than 80 million barrels of oil storage capacity, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. close
