Ken Auletta moderated a discussion on, “The Impact of the Internet on the Presidential Race.” The panelists talked about the ways in which elections have been changed by the Internet that will probably increase in future elections. They also commented on differences between Republican and Democratic usage of the Internet. Topics included whether the Internet has coarsened politics, exaggerated the primary timeline, or made things easier for a third party candidate to mobilize. After their presentations the panelists responded to audience members' questions.
The breakfast meeting was held at New York City’s Bryant Park Grill.
