Richard Land talked by video uplink from Orlando, Florida, about the effort by some religious conservatives in the Republican Party to form a third party if Rudy Giuliani is their party’s presidential nominee. These conservatives do not feel that former Mayor Giuliani is truly a pro-life candidate, and, like Mr. Land, would prefer to vote for a pro-life candidate under the auspices of a third party. Mr. Land responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
