Egypt’s ambassador to the U.S. Mohamed M. Tawfik shared his experiences during on his country’s revolution the previouis year, and how economic growth would be essential to its future. Then U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Jose Fernandez talked about the economic challenges and opportunities in the Middle East.

These were the luncheon keynote address of the 21st Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference which was held by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. close
