As part of the Detroit Educational Summit, Ambassador Holbrooke talked about U.S. economic and foreign policy issues, including policy in Africa. Among the issues he addressed were the importance of international engagement, the need for political and economic development overseas, and the impact of the AIDS crisis in Africa. Following his remarks he answered questions from audience members.
