Vice President Quayle examined the situation in Kuwait and future security in the Persian Gulf. Less than four weeks before the date set by the United Nations resolution allowing force to be used to remove Iraqi forces from Kuwait, Quayle repeated the administration’s resolve in enforcing the United Nations resolution.
