Judge Richard Posner talked about his book The Little Book of Plagiarism, published by Pantheon. He discussed contemporary notions of plagiarism, intellectual property, and fair use in literature, music, art, film, and academia with Jonathan Lethem. Mr. Lethem, an award-winning novelist, is the author of the recent Harper’s Magazine essay about plagiarism “The Ecstasy of Influence.” The conversation was moderated by Lawrence Weschler, author of Everything that Rises: A Book of Convergences, nominated for the 2006 National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism. close
