The Peter Peterson Foundation held its second annual day-long fiscal summit to discuss reduction of the current federal budget debt and long-term national debt. Foundation Founder and Chairman Peter Peterson made opening remarks, focusing on the state of the U.S. economy. 
The event was joined in progress. At the end of this portion of the event, two videos were shown. Each was a budget reduction plan presentation, one produced by the American Enterprise Insitute and the other by the Bipartisan Policy Center.
