Kurt Loder talked about being a libertarian in the media. He talked about changes in the music industry, alternative media, and the influence of bloggers. He also talked about government intrusions on personal liberty such as smoking and trans fat bans and the use of surveillance cameras. He responded to questions from members of the audience.

The event, titled “Liberty, Technology, and Media,” was part of a convention, the Reason Foundation in Washington, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
