Senate Finance subcommittee examined savings and pension plans. Senator Bill Bradley, a New Jersey Democrat, chairs the Senate Finance Deficits, Debt Management and Long-Term Economic Growth Subcommittee’s hearing on long-term savings trends. Congressional Budget Office Director Robert Reischauer and several economists testified before the subcommittee.
